While most businesses aren’t comfortable with having their traffic stats, top performing pages, and website listed as case studies, several of them have been kind enough for us to publish their performance with their company name and sensitive details omitted. Here are just a few websites that we currently work with, and their personal performance and growth over time:

Study #1 - Business Software Suite

Image Description

Key Takeaways

  • Increased organic visitors from 300 visitors per day to 4,100+ visitors per day and growing (28,000+ per week)
  • Organic traffic increased from 47.13% of total traffic to 93.70% of total traffic
  • Overall revenue has increased 178.16% and is continuing to increase each month

Campaign and Client Details

The goal of this client was simple: reduce the amount of money spent on pay per click and invest in a long-term content marketing campaign to reduce costs. With an average cost per click of $2.54, they were spending thousands every month on ads and their monthly sales had plateaued.

They came on board with a budget of $1996 per month, which amounts to four carefully-researched blog posts per month (1 per week). They have stuck with this campaign the past 3 years. Once the blog started to gain traction, we saw an average monthly growth of 15.62% in organic traffic to their blog articles.

The blog posts we wrote for them received dozens of invaluable organic backlinks and mentions from massive websites including Zoho.com, Cyfe.com, SocialMediaToday.com, Yahoo.com, Fortune.com, BigCommerce.com, and more, which further propelled their organic rankings.

Study #2 - Consulting Firm

  • Started from a brand new website with 0 visitors to 12,215 organic visitors per month and growing
  • Organic visitors to their blog now account for 82.61% of their total website traffic
  • Overall revenue has increased 617% in the past two years and is continuing to increase each month

Campaign and Client Details

The goal of this client was to help a brand new website get off the ground with quality content to help acquire organic links, increase sales, and establish themselves as thought leaders in their industry. Working with a very competitive niche and working with a brand new website both presented us with some challenges.

They came on board with a budget of $998 per month, which amounts to two carefully-researched blog posts per month (1 every 2 weeks). They have stuck with this campaign the past 3 years. Inside of a year, they saw an explosive increase in organic search traffic, and were growing by 18.65% on average every month.

The articles we created for them have received some incredible organic mentions and links from massive authority sites, including AllBusiness.com, Forbes.com, Entrepreneur.com, BuzzFeed.com, and dozens more.

We’ve only written about 72 blog posts for them at the time of writing, and now that their traffic is starting to take off, we’re expecting to see their site double or triple in size next year. The two dips in the screenshot were both on December 25th, Christmas Day.

Study #3 - Travel Reservations

Image Description

Key Takeaways

  • Increased organic visitors from 100 per day to 1000+ per day solely through blogging (7000 per week)
  • Organic visitors to their blog now account for 80.66% of their total website traffic
  • Overall revenue has increased 257% in the past year and is continuing to increase each month

Campaign and Client Details

The goal of this client was to increase sales through their site and start strengthening their website’s content and SEO. Since they didn’t yet have a blog, we assisted them with creating a custom mobile-friendly Wordpress blog themed to match their site perfectly.

They came on board with a budget of $1996 per month, which amounts to four carefully-researched blog posts per month (1 every week). They have stuck with this campaign the past year. Since then, we’ve seen incredible growth, as much as 61% in a single month.

This particular website already had a fair bit of links and website authority, and we could tell that their website desperately needed some quality content. Their posts ranked very quickly and performed well out of the gate.
